1 Thessalonians 2:8 Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

We have lived in Papua New Guinea for just shy of one year (will be one year as of October 22). We truly have come to love this beautiful country and it’s people. Our friends and neighbors have become part of our family. We enjoy having conversations with people as we go about town. They love when we wear the local clothes (when I wear a meri blouse and carry a bilum which is a hand woven purse/bag). They love for us to experience their culture with them, and we love it too. We did not just come to Papua New Guinea to accomplish a task, we came to live life with the people here. To become part of the community. To speak their language. To learn their customs. To laugh with them. To cry with them. We are excited to see what the future holds…
