Fully Funded…And Waiting…

As of April 2022 we have raised the minimum monthly financial support required by our sending organization to be able to leave for Papua New Guinea! Praise God! However, we are in a season of waiting right now. While our work permits were approved a few weeks ago, we now continue to wait on our visas to be approved. The process has been longer than we had anticipated, but we know that there is a reason for the wait. In the time that we have waited for our visas, we have been able to see family, work on extra therapy for Amy’s shoulder after a surgery she had to repair damage done during a fall on ice last year, and even serve the missionary kids of our organization during the Missionary Training that is done during the month of June. When the ministry to the missionary kids is finished, before we head to PNG, we hope to spend some time in rest as a family since we know when we arrive in PNG things will probably be very busy! While we are anxious to get to PNG, we also look forward to this time of rest as we have been in “Go-mode” for the past year and a half.

Please pray for the perfect timing for our visas, for the perfect flights (and affordability!), and for ease of transition for our family (especially the boys).

God bless!
