Medical Evangelism

At the end of October, we were so excited to be able to do our first medical outreach trip to the village of Salamaua. We partnered with the local Assemblies of God Bible School as well as the Assemblies of God Community Health Worker’s Training School, bringing students from each with us on this trip, allowing them to experience ministry outside the walls of the church. We traveled about an hour via boat to the coastal community. We set up a clinic in an area where a new church is being planted and saw roughly 150 people, each one being prayed with by either the missionaries, students from the CHW school, or students from the Bible school. In the evening the students from the Bible school had a service for the community where they led in praise and worship as well as preached some short sermons. It was a great learning opportunity for the students and we really loved being able to go out and minister to the community! The next morning we got back into the boats and went to the village of Buakap where we met with the people of the village and encouraged the local church there.

We were so happy to be able to do this trip and we look forward to doing more in the future! To give toward the cost of medications for these trips, click the “Donate” button on the top right corner of your screen. Thank you so much for being a part of our ministry!
